- Since many of her life events have been captured in photos/videos, which were automatically organized into events and shared in their Family Album, it’s easy for them to browse through those events and pick ones that best highlight her life’s journey so far
- For each of those events, they pick 1-2 pictures to represent, and create a 10 minute slideshow that they feel beautifully captures the essence of their daughter’s journey to reach her HS graduation
- They’re also able to include quotes from some of experiences which were captured in stories at the time of those events.
- Best of all, the slideshow is available to everyone who joins in the celebration, because it’s been shared in the Celebrate Daughter’s Graduation album, where family and friends are able to share their own stories and media to celebrate her journey and how she has touched their lives.
- Before daughter leaves the nest and goes off to college, she thinks it would be really cool if the family did a movie night to watch highlights of their 18 years together as a family
- Now, with GreatAlbum, this becomes a breeze! Even with 300,000 parents’ pictures/videos and another 150,000 by the kids, the family can easily create/watch different playlists to represent their life together.
- First they decide to watch a playlist of kids sports events over the years, so they create a list of the 100 sports game/tournament events in their Family Album and play a slideshow of the cover pictures for each event - which takes 8-10 minutes.
- Next, they want to watch a playlist of family vacations over the years, so they create a list of 50 family vacation events in their Family Album and play a slideshow of 3 favorite pictures for each event - which takes ~15 minutes.
- They continue to create and watch a number of playlists to highlight fun themes, like first days of school, birthdays, school plays, and revel in all of their family experiences together until late into the night!
